The Alcatraz Ferry operates year round. Reservations are limited to 8 tickets and are available for purchase for the next 60 days. If you book 60 or more days in advance we will process your Sightseeing Tour or Bay Cruise reservation now and hold and book the Alcatraz ferry as the dates are released to the public. The Alcatraz Ferry departs from PIER 33

Current rates for the Day Alcatraz Ferry and Audio Tour: $ 26.00 for Adult / Junior (12-61), $ 24.50 for Seniors (62+) and $ 16.00 for Children (5-11). Night Alcatraz Ferry and Tour Rates: Adult (18-61) $ 33.00:, Junior (12-17) $ 32.00: Senior (62+)$ 30.50: Child (5-11) $19.50. Subject to change without notice.


Limited tickets for Night Alcatraz Tours are available May 5-June 10 Weekends only, June 15-September 3 Daily, September 8-September 30 Weekends only. Departures 6:10 PM or 6:40 PM. Please indicate if you want a Night Tour on your order. If Night tours are unavailable a day Alcatraz tour if available will be reserved for you automatically.

INSTRUCTIONS: We will book your Alcatraz ticket for you upon receipt of your Combination Bay Cruise or Sightseeing Tour order. You will receive two travel vouchers and two separate credit card charges.

ALL ALCATRAZ SALES ARE FINAL The National Park Pass is not applicable to the Alcatraz Tour. No exchanges, refunds or cancellations.

Departure Dates and Times:
Daily - Closed Christmas. Double Decker Tour - Closed Christmas and New Years Day. Summer Schedule: Open Ticket for hourly departures from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Spring, Fall and Winter Schedule will vary. Please call. Alcatraz Ferry Ticket based on availability.

The tour schedule for the day depends on the availability for Alcatraz ferry tickets.

For example, if Alcatraz Ferry is available in the morning; You will pick up tickets for the Alcatraz Ferry direct from the Pier 33 "Will Call" window. After your Alcatraz Tour you return to the CitySightseeing San Francisco Office to join the Downtown Loop for any of the afternoon departures. The Downtown Loop departs every hour between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM in the Summer. Spring, Fall and Winter Schedule will vary. Please call.

If there is no availability for Alcatraz ferry in the morning, upon arrival at Fisherman's Wharf you will start with any of the AM Downtown Loop Tour departures and then continue to Pier 33 and the Alcatraz Ferry and Tour in the afternoon.

Confirmation & Travel Vouchers
For every confirmed booking you will receive 2 e-mails with your E-Ticket Vouchers - when both parts of your combo tour booking are confirmed. Please present the 1st E-Ticket voucher at the Tour Office for your Double Decker Tour. The 2nd email will be your reservation and receipt for the Alcatraz ferry.

Alcatraz Tickets are held at Pre-Paid Will Call:

Your Alcatraz boarding tickets will be held at the Alcatraz Cruises terminal at Pier 33. When you present your Alcatraz Voucher, picture ID and credit card used on the reservation transaction the boarding tickets are printed. Be sure to show up 30 to 45 minutes before your cruise! Alcatraz tickets may not be picked up prior to the tour date.

This combination tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your two confirmations for these 2 separate activities will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability.

Recommended for all tours in San Francisco: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.

Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, tour route may be altered.

IMPORTANT: DOWNTOWN LOOP TOUR: Tour cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations of the Downtown Loop tour prior to 24 hours are charged a $10 per person administration fee. No shows will be charged.
